      Rage

Vietnam exacted the largest retribution on sincere people of any war in modern day conflicts.  The lie was exposed while the conflict yet raged...this exposure eventually brought an end to the overt US involvement in this conflict..it shuddered to a sickening grinding halt..

Yet..you live.
And you live with this knowledge...
And it hurts..
And the hurt is consumed by rage.

The VA a program in place to aid the walking wounded returned from this conflict...
doesn't
and often exacts yet another payment from those who have
already given more than they had...turning a deaf ear to claims..
plausible deniability

Yet..you live.
And you live with this knowledge
And it hurts..
And the hurt is consumed by rage.

You learn of your heritage.  It is that of the First Nations people..you
learn that it had been hidden because of the injustices of this system
in order to live..
in order to survive in this land.
And you lose a part of what could have been your heritage..
through death
through lies
through injustices...
you learn of more injustices and lies and deceptions of the
government to the people..
your people..

Yet..you live.
And you live with this knowledge
And it hurts..
And the hurt is consumed by rage..

This knowledge is dangerous..to the oppressors of our people.
You have the truth..
your life IS the truth
of the lies
and deceptions...
and the losses..
Implausible deniability

And yet..YOU live..
to share this knowledge
that others may know the wounds
feel the pain
that others may be swept by rage
at the injustices
and there may be change
and injustices
swept clean BY the rage
of all..

Do not be swept away in the tide of your rage..
use it instead,
for the good..
of all.
