Following meetings Thursday evening and Friday morning to firm up and consolidatethe purpose and plans for Camp Justice, the march went quietly Saturday morning. As of Friday three teepees and an estimated fifteen tents curently comprise the slowly expanding camp. The AIM flag flies along side the Oglala Nation flag, a reminder that this is Lakota territory.
Meanwhile, VJ's store owners continue to deny any links with white supremacy groups stating," We are a family who has lived here for six years and enjoy living in our community raising our family. We require no assistance whatsoever. We are a grocery store selling groceries, produce, and meat in White Clay, NE. We are currently closed down because of a fire and looting done to our grocery store."
