Update from Tom on today's march -
A handful of people marched today - about 15. Tom and members of Camp
Justice talked with the state police and the sheriff's department,
who
stated that they will not recognize an injunction from Tribal Court
- that
it will have to come from state or federal court before they will recognize
it. They also said they will talk to the business owners in Whiteclay
to
see if they would willingly close down for the marches but that they
cannot
force them to.
Camp Justice members will go to the Tribal Council Wednesday and ask
them
to take a stronger hand in what is happening with Whiteclay and Camp
Justice.
Bodies and donations are still needed. It is getting cold there.

Message today from Tom Poor Bear -
It is getting very cold there and he wanted me to tell you that they
need
gloves, boots, coats, and tents - insulated-type winter wear....
