The following article was sent to Native-L by Frosty Deere. There has been a lot of discussion among friends at Wendake concerning this situation. For those of you not familiar with the physcial location of the Huron Reserve it is deep into Quebec province just north of the City of Quebec.

Mohawk warriors will take up arms to defend themselves against a separtists if they ever attempt to take Quebec out of Canada.
I met with Mohawk Chief Billy Two-Rivers on the Mohawk reserve adjacent to Montreal. He did not mince words.
"I don't think separation will happen, but if it did it would totally unacceptable and wouldn't include our territory," he said. "We will expect Canada to defend our relationship."
"Just as Quebec invoked the War Measures Act during the Oka criss to get the army involved, we certainly expect Ottawa to come to our aid in the light of a revolutionary act such as separation," he said.
